Rock of the Boys - Approaching the rugged coastline of the Spanish island of La Palma (SPC/GCLA). Vaguely reminiscent of Funchal, Madeira, only here the First Officer is allowed to perform the landing, whereas its Portuguese counterpart is Captains-only.

The volcanic island is sprinkled with volcanoes and forests and its highest peak, 'Roque de los Muchachos', is the site of one of the world's largest astronomical observatories. We're picking up the 3.0 degrees PAPIs, below the slightly steeper 3.25 degrees NDB glide path.
