Pegasus and Perseus - Moonrise over Tel Aviv-Yafo, as we bank right over Jaffa Port passing the Israeli coastline. One of the world's most ancient ports, its history dating back thousands of years. The harbour is mentioned in the biblical Book of Jonah (and the whale) and also in Greek mythology. Andromeda, daughter of Cassiopeia, was chained to a rock bed just off the coast, being sacrificed to Cetus. But she was saved by Perseus on his winged horse Pegasus, as he killed the great sea monster. You can see the waves breaking on Andromedas Rock just left of Jaffa Port in the bottom right corner.
