Jet d'Eau - Grey clouds gathering over lake Geneva, as we approach the lakeside town of Versoix, on our way to Geneva airport (GVA/LSGG). The second largest city of Switzerland is home to the Jet d'Eau, a large fountain that jets 500 litres of water per second in the air, reaching an altitude of almost 150 metres. On a clear day the fountain can be seen from an airliner cruising at an altitude of over 10 km or 33,000 feet. Here the city and the fountain are just visible in our left front window.
